I'm Port Chester born and bred and this was my first time at Alba's. I was delightfully surprised. Three's all around. It compares to the finest in NYC--from the stone crab appetizer to the zabaglione for dessert. The service was personal and excellent and the ambiance was warm and cozy, and beautiful with all the Christmas decorations and the warm fire. The others found the sea bass and the creme brule outstanding.
Food is just O.K. Tables are packed in and service leaves a lot to be desired. Overpriced for what you get.
Been around a long time; still reliable and dependable, if not exciting; sitting near the fireplace in the winter is cozy
Decent food, nice decor and very poor service. Price is high for the value you receive.
good....but expensive, needs more atmosphere...
