Classical cooking to perfection. Service is attentive and prompt. Brunch is special. Dessert souffles are to die for. A recent visit shows continued attention to detail. Easily the best restaurant for miles around. Specialties unavailable elsewhere include Antelope scallops, sweetbreads - all done to perfection.
I just enjoyed my first visit to this beautiful restraunt. The food was exceptional! The atmosphere was warm and cozy. The host was very welcoming and was very well informed of the menu and the wine list. First course was alittle under seasoned, but the soup and main course were amazing. The flavors were amazing. Serive could have been alittle better, but was still very good. Great dinning and will definetly return! Compliments to the Chef!
Prefix menu, many items to choose from. Romantic place! Food needs work; some dishes overflavored, others not flavored enough. Reasonable selection of wines by the bottle.
Excellent but rather old fashioned food, backed by a serene and gracious decor and only fair service. This was on the evening before Easter and the restaurant was only half full so the service lapses were a bit annoying. Started well but took a bit of work to order the second bottle of wine and to get the bill. The food was uniformly very good with the appetizers and dessert rising to excellence. Worth the price.
Went once. Cheese souffle appetizer was good and cucumber soup was decent. Duck was rather dry and uninteresting and dessert was fine but not extraordinary. Most disappointing was the service. Attentive to start, our table was ignored after receiving our entrees. Took 45 minutes to receive our check after requesting it. 45 MINUTES! Brought complimentary cookies AFTER taking our coffee cups. No one said good night. For $$$ there are better places.
