Tuesday night in a Tarrytown restaurant was very quiet so you would expect service to be a bit upbeat and attentive but unfortunately was not. Service was ok to not so ok. I did not find the service too friendly but a bit cold. I have been here several times before and plan on coming back. Food is EXCELLENT but a pit pricey. Salads can be split between two people.
My wife and I had a very romantic and wondeful dinner at Caravela. The waiter was very friendly and knowledgable about the menu providing outstanding service. I ordered the fish stew which was a hughe portion and very tasty. My wife ordered the monkfish with a curry sauce which was outstanding. The food is really outstanding in a fine decor and setting. The portugese white house wine was great with our meal. Looking forward to returning.
