We went on a Saturday evening. At the table next to us was a son taking his elderly mother to dinner; behind us was an elderly gentleman who was interviewing a lady for a job. The feel is of a private club that has seen better times. We had the tasting menu with matched wines - food varied from fair to excellent, but the wines were terribly mismatched. Overall, a disappointing evening from a place that does not live up to its rep..

Great decor but a little disappointed with the food. Ate a three course meal and was not really impressed by anything. Bacon wrapped scallops where probably the best item we had. Also had the a cold mango soup, rabbit and truffle pasta, and pork loin (two people), all of which were just "OK." Deserts were good but considering we spent over $200, you hope to be blown away by at least one main course. As you would expect, service was decent.

Went to the Cabaret. Beware they add 21% tip (odd number isn't it) plus tax, so the $13 drink cost nearly $17. Manhattan prices for cruise ship entertainment. Stay away.

Went during restaurant week. Treated like low lives. Even thought they don't normally, during restaurant week charged $5 parking fee and automaticallly added 21% gratuity to ALL bills . SERVICE was inattentive at best. Ordered wine with dinner, never revisited by waiter, only runner bringing out dishes-except for the final check. Had to wait 40 mins for table even though two were available, but had reserved signs(for hotels guest)? Stay away.

The restaurant was beautiful, but the service was lacking, and the food was only o.k. It feels like this was a great restaurant at on time that has gone down hill.
