I will never go here again! Because my housemate raved about the food at this place, so I ordered take out with her. When we arrived, the young lady at the front desk was rude and hostile. At one point, she asked us why we were still there when we hadn't gotten our food. The food wasn't so good that I would ever put up with that kind of rudeness again!
We've always taken out here knowing the food is very good. One day we ate there for lunch and we were mortified. They served us the fried noodles and duck sauce an was about to order when a roach jumped on my wife which she quickly knocked to the ground. We walked out immediately and explained why to one of the staff which they understood. Very disappointing to discover this after we've taken out there all these years.
The food is very good--I agree with the earlier good comments. I've been ordering takeout from HR for 15 years now. My beef is with the serving size. They've recently reduced the size of their take-out containers by something like 25%, so unfortunately I'm going to have to find a new Chinese takeout place. :( If you're listening, HR, I'd be willing to pay a couple of dollars more for a larger dish, but the little ones are useless.
