Pick one of four fishes, and have it prepared how you like it, with a choice of several sauces and finishes. Add to that very reasonable (cheap) prices, including only $12 for corkage. A winner.

Another neighbood spot that we discovered and enjoyed. Straightforward seafood menu was well prepared and the prix fixe was a steal. Service was friendly and informed but stretched a bit thin on the night we visited.

This Alamo Square hideaway has reasonable prices, good food with a French flavor, and am ambience in line with the neighborhood.

Seafood with a glass of wine and perhaps a nice fresh salad. Excellent and a big bang for the buck. I can also recommend the mussels with frites.

When we're craving fish done "our way" we'll head over to Alamo Square. Everything is well prepared. We love this neighborhood gem.
