NOW CLOSED. Unfortunately, Cafe Macella has been sold and will close March 15. This has been for some time a wonderful locals place with consistently well prepared food and excellent menu. Recent sweetbread appetizer was OUTSTANDING! Pasta selections are a hidden gems here.

Too bad this solid, Los Gatos restaurant is changing owners -- adieu to Alain, and bon chance to the new owners.

Delicious!!!! My husband and I consider this place one of our favorites in Los Gatos. Fantastic staff and chef! The family whom own the restaurant are delightful! They always make delicious cream-free soups as well as cream-based soups. Fantastic wine list!!!
