Breads and baked goods were fantastic. Fresh squeezed grapefruit juice and and strong coffee were very good. Our main course were good, but not great, we'll try something more adventurous the next time we go.
We had a 20 minute wait at 10am on a Friday, but we'll try this again.

We had to wait 45 min to get in. But woooow what a breakfast. It was THE best breakfast we had in san fransisco even much better than the four season.
Thank u zagat but this needs to be the #1 breakfast in the bay area for food

About 20 minute wait, so not bad. The place is small, but the pace is quick. I sat at counter and watched the short order cook work. He never stopped moving the entire time. The menu is not huge but there are two blackboards, one for meal specials and one for baked goods specials. The food is very fresh and well prepared. If you like HOT, try the jalapeno jelly and corn bread. PS. If you're alone, go right in to grab a seat a the counter.

Standard American breakfast fare so very popular with the Downtown tourist trade and some locals. Getting a table there is comparative to waiting for a bed at a homeless shelter. If you're not there by 15-30 mins before they open at 7:30AM, you're guaranteed over 45 mins wait for a table where the food is good, but not worth the wait. Known for their pancakes, French toast and muffins. They have daily specials in addition to the regular menu.

Twelve to fifteen folks in line ahead of us but worth the wait on a Sunday morning. Huge variety, including specials, for breakfast. Service was prompt and friendly. But, OH, what a meal!!!!!! Would return and recommend.
