What a great looking place. Sit in the back in the old pool room. good seafood with a innovative menu.

My husband and I dined here 10 years ago. I was in SFO with my two younger children (8 and 12) this weekend and wanted to show them the place. The 12-year-old has very sophisticated taste in food, and the waiter took her seriously, which was much appreciated. He also handled my 8-yr-old picky eater well. Both kids loved the place, and I enjoyed my fish as well. I'd go back again if in town with others--a beautiful restaurant that's held up.

Still going strong after more than 10 years, Farallon continues to be a lot of fun. The food and service are great and if that doesn't do it for you, the wild decor will keep you amused. If you choose right, you can have an excellent meal. Don't miss the oysters.

This restaurant is our favorite to bring friends from outside Bay Area. Last week we visited and it was in fact a seriously disappointment. The food has changed, tasteless and without any effort. We had to wait over an hour to be served, even thought we have arrived earlier. We are not planning to come back. Can't explain what happen.

This place is seriously overrated. The decor is fabulous but starting to show its age. The restaurant is very loud. The menu is seriously limited in terms of offerings which I found very surprising. The food was average at best. There are many, many other seafood restaurants that are superior in San Francisco and cheaper. You're paying a premium for the decor and its not worth it.
