Lost their edge. Dont know why but I ate their a lot in the Boyle Heights location during the OJ trial.........maybe his acquittal sent them downhill --- they just dont seem to care as much and it is not the family place it was

Outstanding Mexican seafood served to Angelenos for more than two decades. You choose your fish, your cooking technique, and your sauce, and the gracious waitstaff brings it out with aplomb. A truly lovely place to have a meal, although be sure to park around back in the guarded lot. Far and away the best member of this small chain.

I was taken to the Santa Monica location by a friend who loves it; I thought it was fine, but nothing to rave about. I'd like to check out the Boyle Heights original.

One of best deals in town. Wonderfully fresh sea-food. And no one makes chorizo like this place.
