This modern, yet sophisticated eatery is lively with tables that are packed into a not-so-large space. Food is absolutely amazing. The day boat scallops over corn nage was fantastic and the Pacific NW cioppino was a superb variation on this traditional SF-style dish. Noise levels can rise a bit when the place is full, but not as much as you would expect for the number of guests seated. Service was spot-on and the manager was very attentive.

The best place to eat and people watch at the same time in Laguna. The in-crowd is always here in the heart of the artsy downtown, and while cramped seating at times, reserved areas of the patio or back of the restaurant can be quite nice. On a summer day the patio is the best place in town. Good food and drinks, fun decor, and better service than expected means that this place has never disappointed. Always worth dining for another meal here.
