I went to 555 a while back and went again couple weeks ago. My first experience was good and wondered if it was the same. And yes.. I was right the first time. We started off with salad and shrimp. the cocktail sauce was one of a kind. I ordered medium cooked steak and it was a little under cooked but it was perfect after they fixed it. The mashed potato was so creamy. We also put in an order for the chocolate souffle and it was heavenly.

One of the best steak places in the Long Beach area. The service is great, and the food is excellent. The atmosphere is much like something from the "Godfather", with big leather booths. Private parties are welcome as they have an elegant table in a very large wine room.

This place is just ok. When i went there they over cooked a steak for someone at the table, twice. This was a little while back so maybe changes have been made. For the price the steak should cooked right the first time. The wine was gone we wanted. Maybe just a bad night. Might try again. Not sure if Id recommend.

The food was below average but it matched the service. Spoke to the manager regarding the lack of service- it was apparent that it wasn't the first complaint of the day. Too bad.

mighty fine steakhouse. some seafood choices as well. the chocolate souffle is worth the wait. reasonable corkage fee. decent wine list
