The mole is authentic and really quite tasty. Unortunately the rest of food is insipid and much too full of grease and lard. General quality and preparations do not measure up to what I ate in restaurants or on the street in Oaxaca. LA has many better Mex establishments. Buy a quart of mole and take it home instead and eat it while watching Rick Bayless.
Yummy! Good & authentic oxaxan (spelling?) food. Great moles. Comfortable & casual atmosphere -- like eating in someone's kitchen. Good & attentive staff. This review is for the WLA location; I had no idea this place is a chain and that is a compliement to it's homey decor and vibe.
a really interesting mexican restaurant
Oaxacan food at its finest here in LA
This is close to Oaxacan food but the atmosphere is more like Del Taco.
