This place is suppose to be a very high end Indian Cuisine Restaurant. We had a very disappointing experience. Prices are exorbitantly high for all items. Example: Vegetable Biryani $17.95, which was served with not so good Basmati rice, off-the shelf common frozen vegetables like Lima beans, carrots etc. This dish did not come close even to a simple Pulao. All items were very oily and without any flavor of Indian spices. Total disappointment.
Very impressive. In a quiet location near South Coast Plaza. Sunday lunch appetizer buffet allows sampling of many Indian flavors. Main courses were full of flavor and interesting. Real chai tea was a wow accompaniment. We stayed for hours. Maybe the best weekend lunch place in O.C.
