I love Angelo's! I think if it the best Italian in Little Italy. Maybe not the best in NYC or the world, but defintely the best in Little Italy. The food is great and the prices are cheap. The service may be rushed when you first walk in the door if it is a busy night, but once you are seated the service is fantastic. I love the spiedini alla romana, but it might give me a heart attack!

This is about ambience more than decor, and food's fine as long as you don't order pasta (which is a huge weakness if you're in little Italy). Nonetheless, makes for a pleasant evening sitting outside.

Excellent always-love the mozzarella spiedini alla romana. The waiters have been there for years--there are only male waiters. Anywhere else it might not be cool-but I think it works for them. The guests also make this a great place--think a mix of "My Cousin Vinny" meets "Goodfellas"

Whenever we are down at Little Italy this is still our choice. Not over priced, in nice weather some outside tables, real Italien waiters, some have been there forever. (They give them stations nearest the kitchen for less walking.)

It is real Old fashion Italian. Huge amounts of food and the location being in Lil' Italy, where Ol' Italian was born. I've had many special gatherings there and prices are great plus you feel like you're eating with family. For people driving there is a parking lot next door so hunting for a parking spot or worrying about parking meters every 45 minutes.
