EXTREMLEY DESAPOINTING EXPERIENCE!!! 1.- Service: "THE WORST SERVICE" in N.Y. (Mr. Pinguin -the bold at the entrace- feels entitled to mistreat costumers as he pleases) 2.- The food: 27 Ranked?: NEVER! JAME! NUNCA! JAMAS! NIENTE! Conclusion: NOT WORTH IT!!! Mr. Batalli you will ever see my money again!

We were not told at time of reservation that we have to leave by any time, the receptionist came to tell us to leave while I was enjoying my last sip of Grappa because they have someone else waiting for our table. I was going to leave anyway. This is most annoying. Also theywill not take more than 6 person for reservation except if you are Bartelli's friend using his private room. Service Sucks! Staff has attitude problems. No Return.

It took me over a month to get a reservation. I finally got one the day we planned on eating at Babbo. The restaurant was located nowhere near where we were staying. It was all worth the hassle. This is the best Italian meal I have ever eaten, one of the best meals I have eaten in all of NYC. The staff was phenomenal, the decor was warm, and the food outshined everything.

Excellent value tasting menu (we really felt onto a winner) every dish superbly put together and matching wines were well placed. It's a beautiful setting with loud and enjoyable rock music which was quite a novelty. There ws even a couple of celebs - couldnt ask for anything more except perhaps the waiter mentioning the $150 truffle pasta 5 fewer times.
