Not sure what others are talking about when they gripe about this place. I am no big name, but got a immediate reservation by calling 1 month out like they suggest. We were 10 min. late from traffic, no mention when we arrived and were seated at a nice table immediately and were served immediately. Food to die for and the service is laid back, yet still attentive. Why are people so mad that it takes several hours to eat a $300 meal. Relax, enjoy.

The best I have had in the city - probably my favorite restaurant. Been a couple of times and both were memorable. The food is excellent, the sommelier(s) terrific and ambiance perfect. Having gone each time without a reservation, I have yet to "fully experienced" Babbo --seeing that I was "forced" to sit in the bar area or front room (as for the food, hard to go wrong with any selection, but not to be missed is the cheesecake)

The staff knows very well their job, maybe very formal, but the did so good. I had a nice experience, nice time i will go for the pasta tasting menu.

loved it, food great, service and decor, too. try to get a seat on the banquet by the stairs so you can watch the food coming from the kitchen - an art presentation if there ever was one. just wish it was easier to get rezzies

Its a must, whenever I go to Manhattan, that Babbo is on my list of restaurants to dine.Supper was just WOW. Again, the pasta tasting menu was out of this world. Where on earth does Mario come up with these ingredients. Service, and even desserts were outstanding. They decided to give us all different desserts. I guess we showed them our appreciation to literally fine dining.Keep up the fabulous work.
