disappointing and loud. i was excited about having some good french food. instead, i found myself at a loud, loud place with at most average food and poorly cooked. the salad was sad and lacking any passion. the best part of the dinner was the steak au poivre, but the ketchup suggestion on the side was just a crime. for desert i ordered a petit pot of chocolate. instead i got a re-heated chocolate souffle, dry, and too sweet: disappointment.

We tried lunch twice and dinner 4 times. Food is just ok. Kind of far from french cuisine. Service was really good and the last we went, i was just taking (a lot of) time to eat my entree and the manager came to offer me something in case i didn't like what i ordered. One of the very few places where the waiters know their wine.

What keeps this SoHo destination so popular is the consistency and quality of the delicious French fare! If you go for Brunch, opt for the bread basket and an extra 30 minutes on the treadmill because it is worth it! Don't leave without sampling the hot sticky coffee role. It is pure perfection!

Restaurant was kind of average. But the best option for a French brasserie remains Benoit on 55th street.

Great brunch place. The food is wonderful and coffee is great! Our coffee mugs and water glasses were constantly being filled. We were not rushed for sitting around after eating our meal during a busy holiday weekend.
