Somewhat limited menu. Thought food was good but not outstanding. Same with the service.

This is based our visit during Restaurant Week in July 09. I wish I could vote 25 for food, since I would reserve 30 for an exceptional meal, but it was far better than a 20. All three courses were fabulous, and service was professional. and attentive without them falling all over you. We have been here before on many occasions and this did not disappoint, as many of the restaurants do when 'pressured' into doing the $35 dinner special.

In addition to the open late part which makes it a favorite for me and my husband, they have the nicest, most creative and flexible special events staff. I have hosted a few events here, each one very different and each time Brasserie staff were great to work with. I think it gets a bad rp from jaded NYers, who are too sophisticated to like the fun decor and realize the food is actually quite good. But if you're in mid-town at 10pm try it.

Sunday brunch is the best time to go, especially if you have visitors from out of town.
