The Food is superb, simple perfection
Chanterelle never goes out of style. The food is excellent, the atmosphere simple and elegant and the service is extremely attentive but, unfortunately, very slow (the only fault).
Solid performance but without extraordinary moments. Possibly the best cheese plate in NYC.
Like visiting a rich friend for dinner. You know what to expect and they deliver every time.....thanks David and Karen for setting a very high standard for these many years. Too bad we don't live in New York all year long so we could come once each month or so..............even though it's a trip from the upper east side. This is the 4th time I'm sending this...once/year. Was there tonight and things are still superb. Bravo
