Over the top luxury. Service is wonderful as is the food, although some dishes are a bit "precious."
What a atmosphere. To bad the twine was still on the steak. They certainly made up for it with free drinks and courses, but really surprising in a place with this reputation. Be ready for 2 car payments, but this is a special place.
Very disappointed. Had 8 people, the staff was very stiff and unwelcoming. Not very cordial. Several times had to ask to refill a drink for a guest, even a second time for the same request. If they aren't excited about a table of eight it should be stated at the time the reservation is made. .
so perfect, words cant do it justice. the absolute example of a perfect dining experience. worth every penny (and wow, thats a lot of pennies).
Good decor, not great. Wonderful utensil display. Service impeccable, though captain Caroline seemed uninterested. Asst. Lyndon-wonderful. Tasting menu hit and miss. Chocolate Coulant maybe the best of it's kind. Wife's Sea Bass & Lamb Chop great. My braised short ribs & parsnip/potato gratin amazing. Several other parts not. Were looking forward to this meal for a long time, agree with others, for $530 for two and no alcohol we expected better.
