A flawless dining experience set in a refined and picturesque location. The wait staff is beyond knowledgeable, attentive and pleasant. Wine list was extensive but navigable and had some great choices. Food was impeccable, to die for. Would definitely go back. Worth every penny of the thousands that it costs.

I am speechless - simply one of the best meals I have ever had in NYC. The service was beyond first class and was completely impeccable (and everyone was so friendly and accessible!). The food was just amazing - they did not serve me a single thing I did not want more of. The atmosphere was not at all stuffy - but rather quite relaxed. I feel spoiled having eaten there. You will not be disappointed.

First rate, ingenious but not off-putting cooking in elegant, subdued, non-earbreaking setting. Friendly but very correct service. Excellent wine list with knowledgeable sommelier. Among the few very best in NY (the best, if you consider attitude as well as food, service and decor!.)

Be prepared to empty your wallet at Danny Meyer's newest diamond. Daniel Humm's creative 11-course Gourmand tasting menu is a 5.5-hour culinary journey. Proteins are treated gently here, cooked slowly (not seared) and at a lower temperature, which is rather refreshing. The venison with glazed Bosc pear is outstanding. You won't have a bad course here.

I revisited recently, I am always amazed at what comes out of the kitchen, The food is impeccable and the staff will stand on their heads for you..nothing is too much trouble...I always leave feeling like an honored guest. I would rate this as a perfect dining experience, on par with the best of New York City.
