Spectacular food and service. I was visiting from Northern Virginia, and would consider driving to New York just to have dinner here again. Those of you only a few hours drive away from this place are very lucky indeed, and should add Il Bagatto to your list of local restaurants. The only problem I had was the Tagliolini with Black and White Truffles was too good to eat slowly enough to savor. I almost ordered it again for dessert.

Visiting NYC in Feb 2010 I booked Il Bagatto because of the good reviews on Zagat. I was so impressed that I signed up to give my own review. The menu, decor & service were perfect. Hulio, probably the coolest guy in New York, makes sure everything runs like clockwork. The waiter was clued up on his wines and when I asked for a wine recommendation for my meal he delivered a great bottle. It was my first visit & I will return everytime I am in NYC

"Excellent Food, Wacky Decore but perfect for the location. I eaten here 4 times and each time the service was excellent. "

"I love this place, have had repeated birthday dinners here, and just let's grab some Great Food Gatherings. The service is great and the food is authentic and to die for, I crave it everyday! Please get the grilled calamari, I haven't had anything better thus far anywhere.."

Good Italian food. Reservations are difficult for prime times
