More food than you can ever finish! Healthy portions, the best parmesean, very attentive and true-to-old-school italian service, consistent and always a real NY experience to dine there!

Haven't been there in 20 years because they don't honor reservations and I refuse to wait a half hour at the bar. Nothing has changed. Will return in 2029. Went with a group of 10 and after 45 minutes of "it will only be a few more minutes" were seated. Once seated, everyone loved it. I had Dover Sole which was great. Dale had langustine and a pasta dish that was also terrific. Action in this part of Greenwich Village on a nice night is a plus.

Stylish but cramped decor. Very much OLD SCHOOL. Service excellent. Everyone (and there are plenty) pitches in with gusto. Veal and lamb excellent. Wine list very appropriate for this caliber. HOWEVER, pasta very disappointing. Tried customized selection. Sauce bland and noodles overcooked. Quanties for all courses are substantial, so cut out pasta have a nice appetizer and entre. No room for dessrt; but, zabaglione wonderful.

Losing some of its magic. This was one of my favorite restaurants ever and sadly I do not think I will be back.
