I've been to a number of Steakhouses, and, for just steaks, this is the best, but not by far. The sides are good, but I've had better at other places. Surprisingly the desserts are very good. The service was cordial. The decor is that unfinished old-fashioned style, but that's what makes it Peter Luger.

Definitely get the porterhouse and the steak was great. Enjoyed the meal, but was not blown away. The chocolate mousse dessert was worth it.

Great Steak! The luger Porterhouse medium rare was done to perfection. Tomatoes and Onions were superb,especially for this time of year. Drinks were large, side dishes were fantastic. Dessert obscene! Go and eat meat.. If not don't go. $90 includes tax no tip per person. Expensive and worth it.

Did not meet our expectations on decor and service.Definitely non-polished,well-lit, cafeteria style. On the other hand, one must try their meats. But, once may be enough. Too many more steak houses to try next.
