The appetizer of frisee, lardons and a soft pouched egg was interesting and good but a little hardier than i expected for an appetizer. My mian course of moules frites was a tale of 2 cities. The mousles were probably the best i have ever eaten. It was too bad that the fries was so limp and uninspiring. Proper fries would have put this dish over the top. Wines by the glass were pricey for the selections they had. Good ambiance

What a wonderful surprise. The food was excellent all around and the service was impeccable. Our party enjoyed all courses from the signature zucchini appetizer to the great dessertes. Food is simple, but its preparation provided lots of flavor. Service was fanastic and even though restaurant is on 10th Avenue, the place was packed. Looking forward to my next visit!

We came for an early dinner and had a great $35 prix-fix meal. Waitress suggested a super wine. We sat well, it got crowded by 7:30PM. A reservation a must. Would gladly return.

This is still one of the hospitable restaurants in New York; not fussy hovering but warm and inviting and full of conversation. Food and service are delightful. And, of course, the tempura green beans are the the best way to start out your meal. As comfortable as - not an old shoe - but a very well designed, very flattering shoe.
