We hadn't been to Savann for a long time and found the food to be very good. Service was also good, while decor had slipped.

"Attentive service" is a gross mis-statement. It took our table of six an hour to receive some fairly benign salad starters where the chef forgot about one of the key ingredients listed in the menu description. I will never go here again, and I now know why I had never been there, despite having lived around the corner for over two years.

Quiet and uncrowded on a street with cheek by jowl restaurants. Lamb consistently good. Pork consistently dry.

Food is mediocre. But the service is so lovely it makes it a great neighborhood spot.
