Tried the 9 course tasting menu with wine pairings selected by the staff. An exceptional experience with superb service. Love the simple yet elegant decor. A real plus if you are a wine lover. I have never seen such an extensive wine list. Highly recommended.

Hadn't been here in many years - Scott was still in the kitchen. Gregory has kept the faith. Still excellent and good in all the important ways. Still find the space a bit too chilly but the service was still superb and the wine list excels in breadth and, unfortunately, expense. No bargains here but a solid NY night on the town dining experience.

Disappointing. Veritas clearly aspires to deliver a sophisticated and innovative dining experience. But there were just SO many rookie mistakes in the restaurant's execution that it was hard to avoid the conclusion that it is pretending to be something that is beyond its capabilities. Green service, ignored allergy warnings, foie gras served too cold, duck and venison both served raw and cold in the center, uninspired and forgettable desserts.

This is one of those places that moved to almost any other city in the world would be remarkable. But this is New York. An imaginative menu is well executed but not quite memorable. The wine list is awe inspiring and should be emailed days in advance so that a diner could research the hundreds of vintages (and the fearsome prices.) The best part of the dining experience is the attentive and professional wait staff. An excellent dining experience.

The most amazing dinner I've experienced. Had the 3 course set meal for $85 and ordered the Wagyu Filet, nothing compares to that steak anywhere. Tried the duck which was also incredible. Atmosphere was quiet and romantic. I'm 20 and felt very young, but thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.
