Comfortable settings, attentive staff. Porterhouse special $20. Requested "rare cool inside" cooked as ordered. Under a lb and a little gristly, but otherwise very tasty. Salad mixed greens, ordered with a surprisingly tasty white french dressing. Garlic potatoes over baked to almost dry. A la cart asparagus and the included apple dumpling with vanilla ice cream with cinnamon drizzle, very good. Typical bottle of wine $40. Good value for the $$

Solid food on a simple steakhouse menu, its not spectacular but not expensive either. I like the redwood decor, it's a step away from the casino and has a "classics Vegas" feel. The place was packed with people laughing and having a good time, which adds to the ambience

What a Vegas steak house should be. Especially if you order the fabulous (not on the menue) $17.95 porterhouse that comes with a salad and dessert. Terrific buy. Everyone in our group ordered something different and all were perfect. Who needs the expensive places in the new hotels, this is a real find. Located in the Hotel California.
