Inexpensive, fresh, satisfying Mexican food, plus a large beer selection and excellent margaritas. Servers are agreeable and responsive. We find ourselves there on many Sunday afternoons--enjoying the simple, perfectly spiced fish tacos, rice and beans, and comfortable black bean soup. Less crowded in mid-afternoon--and a great value.

Very good, inexpensive, authentic Mexican cuisine. Often crowded and worth the wait. Delicious grilled tacos with pork, chicken, shrimp or beef. Combo plates and salty, citrusy margaritas. Don't forget to try the enchiladas and black beans.

The worst kind of Mexican food is American Mexican food that claims to be authentic - and Taqueria Corona is anything but authentic. Tourists who have never been as close to the border may not find it a terrible shame, but those who know better should skip it until they can go back to Mexico for a real taco.
