I love Susan's cookbook and was really looking forward to dining here. The food did not disappoint - beautifully prepared and presented. The only downside was the indifferent service. For the prices here, I expected to be treated like a guest. Unfortunately, the servers ignored us and made me feel like we weren't there.

Food was outsanding but the service was awful. They seemed more concerned with getting my table turned over than creating an enjoyable evening.

overall I was very impressed. Food was good and so was the staff. They need a wine training for the staff, but not a big downfall considering the rest of the evening

What a delight! Outstanding food, atmosphere and service. Enjoy the New Orleans atmosphere in the courtyard. Waitstaff were helpful but not stuffy. Chef Susan, don't make changes - keep the restaurant the way it is. Friends, don't tell too many people about this delightful cottage just a short walk from from the tourist spots. Ate at Galatoire's the next night. Bayona's food was way better and we didn't have to shout to hear one another.

YES, YES, YES screamed Meg Ryan in "When Harry Met Sally"and I add an additional thunderous YES for our meal at Bayona! Every aspect of the evening was memorable starting with our pre-dinner cocktail on the patio, followed by the unbelievable cuisine and last but not least, the graciousness of the staff. So delighted we did not leave NOLA before finding this gem. Worth every penny; actually quite reasonable for the quality.
