Everytime I come to NO, I try to have lunch at Bon Ton. Once again I had the Crawfish Etouffee. Delicious. Reliable. Joy, our waitress, was a joy.

"Old fashioned" in the best sense of the word. You have the feeling that they haven't changed anything here except the prices in the last 30 years. The classic cuisine is predicable old school New Orleans but is well executed and generally delicious. The service is warm and competent. Don't ever change.

This place is really solid eats. Soft shell crab Alvin is a must! Biggest soft shell i've ever seen. You have got to try the bread pudding parfait for dessert, but you better like bourbon because that sauce is strong! Great place to go for a great atmosphere, great food, and a staff to match.

Very warm and friendly place. Nice decor. It is truly a neighborhhod cafe. Please go if you want atmosphere. Please do not go if you want to eat. The food definitely is not bon ton.

Excellent creole food. The locals outnumber the tourists and the food prices are moderate.
