I had heard great things but was disappointed. I can't say I've ever had deep fried rabbit before and I won't again.
After dining here a few days ago I am baffled by its high Zagat rating. I ordered the blackened tuna (rare), the steak was watery and without flavor (then again, not a New Orleans specialty), and my husband's shellfish platter came complete with sand in the oysters (he was unpleasantly surprised) .We left feeling time and money wasted.
A two block walk from the St Charles streetcar line which provides romance for a sensual meal to follow. It's all it's cracked up to be. You'll see when you eat somewhere else the following evening...
