Sunday Brunch is our favorite time to visit. The patio has been redone and the backroom bar is now open from 4pm till. Mike produces some of the best Sunday Brunch Specials. Have a few $2.50 Mimosa's and then the Homemade Orange/Blueberry cake if there is any left. Yum Yum.

Best slaw I've *ever* tasted. Waiter claims secret ingredient.

The food was very good. Although the restaurant name has bar-b-que in the title, I would not recommend the bar-b-que. Unless it has changed since I was there, the bar-b-que items were a little burnt, too charbroiled. The soup was very good and the other items on the menu were very good. IT is very cheap.

Delicous ribs and pulled pork, worth the drive to Poland Avenue at the Missisippi River

Even pre-Katrina, this place was and is terrible. Totally inexperienced cooks with no sense of sanitation or hygiene. Be prepared to find a metal piece of the steamtable, a metal piece of steel wool scrubber, AND hair in your food, all in one meal! And the staff should properly dispose of their empty drug containers. I wouldn't go back, even at gunpoint.
