I as LESS than impressed to say the least. The tables were so crammed together that you hit the person sitting behind you when you get up.. Big guys beware you wont fit behind the table.. Burgers were greasy and over cooked but potato was fairly good...after we failed to leave a tip for extremely poor service the waitress altered the receipt to make it appear as if we had left a whopping 25% tip, which management later agreed to return.

I actually thought this place was good. It must have been the alcohol. I made the mistake of going Jazz Fest weekend and not drinking. After waiting 30 minutes (we got there right before the crowd) we had our food in less than five minutes after we ordered it. Can you say horribly precooked (no flavor, dry burgers, burned small potatoes) & on top of that the service was horrible, and the waitress gave herself a tip on my card after I left.

Every large city has its legendary burger joint that everyone raves about and this is New Orleans' "must have". I've been twice now and it is one of the most underwhelming burgers I've ever had. The secret to it's success, get people wasted on strong drinks while you wait an hour for a table. By the time you sit down you don't care what you are eating but you swear it's the "best". NOLA is a food paradise, don't waste a meal here.

This burger is thte most overrated burger I have ever eaten. I setting itself is great, with a strong New Orleans flavor, but please do not waste your time. The burgers are burnt on the outside and the cheese is piled high unmelted. Mixing a warm burger, cold cheese, and a stale bun makes for a poor meal.

The burger here is one of the best in the country/world! No need for a menu a burger (rare) with mushrooms and cheese and a baked potato 'fully dressed.' Start with one Homma-Homma (three rums and fresh blend of juices) and go from there, I think I was able to drink two and was quite happy. A once a week/month thing if you live local.
