Went for brunch, and was....well.....nonplussed. Good food, not great, service was LOUSY, and it was overpriced. Might have to think twice if we're going to go back for dinner.

This is now our 6th time for dinner at Upstairs’ at the Square (Monday Supper Club) having turned it into something of a Christmas tradition. Dinner at Upstairs’ followed by the Christmas Revels. It looks as though this is a Cambridge tradition for many families as well. I’ve been there for lunch 4 or 5 times also. Unfortunately, I think this will be our last time for a while at least. The food, usually wonderful, was just plain perfectly OK

This is really two separate restaurants. The Soir�e Room is fantastic with very attentive, friendly wait staff and excellent food (with attention paid to vegetarians--even off-menu). I would classify the dress as upscale casual or better. The downstairs Monday Club Bar is casual with good food, but nothing to rave about. The wait staff is hit and miss. Do yourself a favor and splurge for the Soir�e Room.

I felt like a stepped onto a page of "Alice in Wonderland" The decor and ambiance are great and the food is fantastic!

Its all hyperbole...from the decor to the food.
