"Market salad" $11 for a tiny plate with 5 leaves of lettuce and some sea salt? This place is TOO TOO TOO expensive. Also TOO loud. Who wants to scream over a dinner of exorbitantly priced tiny dishes?

People have realized that the customer is always right. That's why People have chosen to no longer support this establishment. They will need to put up a sign Under New Management to get me back in.

What has happened to AOC? The hint (open tables at 830pm on a Friday) was confirmed by average, over priced food. I will give them credit for a superb chees plate. It didn't used to be this way.

The food lived up to its reputation. Excellent skirt steak and pork loin. Wine is is large, good selection, although not the best I've seen in LA. Lighting is a bit bright for a "great first date" place. Decor is also a bit vanilla. For the price, the food should be good (it is). Not the best overall food to price value, but very good nonetheless.

It may not be as popular anymore, but that just makes it easier for more impromptu visits. Still one of the best first-date places.
