Service was great and food was above average. There was a wide variety of options for dinner. Since I am a vegetarian, the chef was very willing to accommodate by dietary needs. Easy to get to in Nyack but parking is on the street with meters.

Our expectations were high but we left disappointed. Service was great but the food was just average. We shared the antipasto misto which wasn't anything special. We both had specials, pappardelle with shrimp, garlic and olive oil, and swordfish with tomatoes, capers and olives.Pasta was housemade and a bit clumpy, shrimp were thumbnail-size but cooked well, swordfish was a thin-cut palm-size piece over vegs, apple strudel was cold and a bit soggy.

What a superb restaurant! And what a crappy decor, makes it unworthy of the (wonderful) chefs concern/quality. Remodel, with outside advice on how to do it. Noisy, hot in the summer, etc.

Although it's one of our favorite local restaurants, this is not your ordinary Rockland County restaurant. The food is delicious and imaginitively prepared, the owner warmly greets you. Service is attentive but not overdone. It's a little bit of the village without going over the Bridge! GO ! ...you won't be disappointed!!
