Certainly one of the best (if not the best) restaurants in the area. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, which was only made better by the history lesson we got from our proffessional waitstaff about the establishment itself: a renovated church built in the 1800's. Highly recommended to anyone wanting to take in Hudson Valley cuisine and history at its best!

Overenthusiastic menu, poorly executed. Dated decor that didn't work then and does worse now. Rotating and therefore inexperienced staff in front and back of the house. Perhaps restaurant had a moment 10 years ago, but today's higher-than-average ratings are mind perplexing and undeserved. So many better choices in Rhinebeck and surrounding areas.

Perfect for kicking back on a Sunday afternoon with friends and sharing some of the most scrumptious tapas imaginable -- macadamia nut tempura calamari, crispy artichokes, gingered leek and tofu pot stickers. Other menu favorites are the steak sandwich, grilled pork chops, and baked macaroni and cheese. The staff though sometimes fallible (I got fries instead of the requested salad with my burger-which was quickly remedied) is eager to please.

This could just as well have been a hotel restaurant. The menu was not particularly interesting, the apps seems to be reheated frozen items from stop and shop, the steak would have been better if I'd just made it myself, and the hostess was rude. Save your money. If you do go and you order steak, ask for medium if you want medium rare, and ask for well if you want medium.

Food is consistently excellent, setting is beautiful, service is very professional. A great place for special events.
