After eating at the downtown location, the uptown sister disappoints. The space in the back is cramped, the service is uneven and the food is uninspiring. Also, they had a summer Maryland hard-shell crab special and widely publicized it, but ran out of crabs early in the night. Poor planning.

Unbelivable lobster roll! Excellent service; we were treated like we were the only ones there. Highly recommend.

We had eaten at the downtown branch before, and really enjoyed it. This was our first time at the Upper West Side branch, and we'd definitely go back. The fish and seafood were excellent -- well-prepared without being fussy. We like the casual, friendly atmosphere here, and the food quality relative to the cost makes it one of the best values in NY.

Monday night crabs. If you love crabs get two orders, otherwise JUST ORDER ONE, fun night on the UWS. corn and potatoes were great. Too many crabs though with an order per person.
