While Cafe Annie's old site is closed it's excellent food continues at RDG/Bar Annie in BLVD which adjoins he old property. The new venue is trendy, loud and fast paced. Our waiter had to be continually reminded to slow down. Hopefully, the service will slomellow. Food is still unique and worth the price.

The Crabmeat Tostada is sublime. The steaks, lamb and mash potatoes are amazing. I could list ten things I love on the menu. I've never had a bad meal here. I prefer eating in the bar, Bar Annie. The bar is lower key than the restaurant. Both the restaurant and bar have great service and a great feel.

Crab meat with Avocado relish appetizer is a must! Absolutely scrumptious. The rest of the food was the usual quality for fine dining restaurants in Houston. I really enjoyed the experience but probably not enough to make a point to go back for a second time. Definitely need to try if you have never been.

Pricey. This place is one of those which believe that to be fancy you have to serve ridiculously small portions. The food is very good, really, but the ridiculous portions and the fantastically smuggy and displicent service play against this fake-fancy place. Owners/managers, attention: good service is probably the most important feature (more than requesting ties), especially in this time of crisis - if you want to stay afloat, improve.

This restaurant talks the talk. Soups are outstanding! Cinnamon Roasted Pheasant w/ wild mushroom is sensational. Staff is professional and attentive This place is simply a great night out!
