The food was amazing, but expect a lengthy time to complete your meal.

Food is slightly overrated, but still quite good. This is more 25-26 than 27. Some dishes in the chef's 5 course sampler were uncommonly tasty including a lovely cauliflower-currant pasta dish, well-conceived fish courses and a mustard quail that was really different and excellent. The cuisine is an unusual mixture of avant-guard and homey. Atmosphere is almost old-fashioned funky French retro plus cool music. Svc is strong if self-conscious.

The decor is dated (but being redone). The food is quite good, but not exceptional. Seems to be retsing on it's laurels a bit. The atmosphere is a rather oppressive - library whisper quiet, Needs some modernizing,
