I will make this very simple. You must eat here when you go to Portland. This place was so good and the people could not have been nicer. If you want to have a great dinning experience then eat at Paleys

In my experience still the finest dining experience in Portland. Cuisine is creative, substantial, elegant, engaging , satisfying, finessed and inspired. Service is warm and inviting without being overly familiar. From fresh local Sturgeon to Venison, it's difficult to go wrong. The Northwest wine list is, as one would expect, among the best in the region. A world-class dining experience in unpretentious surrounds. All accolades well-deserved.

A warm, intimate restaurant located in a charming Victorian house, Paley's Place is the perfect date spot. Local, seasonal ingredients are featured on the well focused menu. Seafood is the hero here, and the sweetbreads are also stellar.

Truly a wonderful meal. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The service was attentive without being intrusive. Preparations are not over complicated, while at the same time being creative and prepared in a manner that showcases the superb flavors of the local, fresh ingredients.
