Friends who are "regulars" at Babette's told us about this place and, boy, what a find. Cozy, quite and indoor or covered deck dining. i had the mussels and we both had the halibut with the mustard vinagrette dressing. DON'T let the mustard deter you from this dish. It has a mild flavor and the halibut has an additional sauce. We're going back tomorrow night.

What a treasure this place is! I will visit it each time I am visiting Atlanta. The food was delicious and the service fantastic. Some classic French dishes made approachable for beginners. If you haven't tried Babette's you must go immediately and enjoy the experience!

Fabulous find in East Atlanta! Cozy and relatively quiet dining room of this converted house establishes an inviting, comforting and personal ambiance. Service is exceptional with servers being properly trained in attentiveness, timing, and wine pairings. Menu features appetizers, small plates & starters, entrees and wine lists. Selections from each were made and found to be excellent. Highly recommended and great prices too!

This is the second time in six weeks that we visited this restaurant, and both experiences were equally outstanding. The food in inventive and flavorful, but not fussy, and the value is exceptional. The waiter was like a handsome genie: attentive and helpful, appearing just before we knew we needed him, and then disappearing quietly. This is a phenomenal find - a delight in every way.

I wanted to respond to the reviewer who dined at Babette's on 6/24/08. I have been dining at Babette's since it opened 15 years ago and I still go often. The food is and always has been consistently outstanding with the chef/owner changing the menu seasonally to take advantage of the freshest possible ingredients. And what I'll say about brunch is they serve the finest eggs benedict (called Babette's Benedict) I've EVER had. It's perfection!
