Great for family and all around good value
It's not as much fun or as good of a deal now that it's no longer a dive, but we still enjoy coming back to reminisce about our old college days.
Jerk chicken, mammoth sweet potatoes, and all the (iced) tea in China for hipsters and street folks alike. Decor, what decor?
Great food for the price. Don't go if you want to be charmed by the ambience. The jerk chicken is good and inexpensive and the pasta is a steal. Better than most italian restaurants you will go to. There is a crunchy granola vibe going on with the staff, but the clientele is a good mix. Also a nice place for young families on a budget when they want to eat out.
Eats is good for a decent, cheap meal. If you are one of those "high-falluting" type of people then stay away. I always have the "jerk chicken plate" - cheap, filling and nutritious. Remember though that real "jerk chicken" can only be found in Jamaica. There are NO restaurants in the US that make the real thing. If you watch TV food shows, its one of the "foods to eat before you die." Back to Eats - cheap, friendly, laid back place to eat.
