Went to Fat Matt's on Saturday, exceptional as always, DON"T CHANGE! Music was outstanding and the vibe was on....Soul Shakers were playing and the crowd was rockin'. You could easily pay $50/head just for a cover to hear a band like that in LA or NYC. The BBQ was moist, spicy, outstanding. Potato salad was superb. So you do have to wait and its family style. The kitchen staff is nice and always friendly. Keep it up Matt!

Just the right amount of smoke wafts from the plate. The sauce packs a lot of flavor and just the right amount of kick. Best BBQ chicken I've had to date. Smoky, but still very moist. The ribs were great too. Highly recommend.

Have done take-out many many times. Delightful food. Super-fast service. RIbs at times may be a little undercooked for some palates. Pulled port always superb. A bit spicy - especially for young kids who are not used to spices. Sides are thoughtfully made too. Grateful that such establishments exist and prosper

Ribs and chicken are great but a little pricey. The only drawback during our visit was the woman taking orders at the counter apparently would have preferred that we were not there so that she could continue her conversation with the kitchen staff. It's a very small place with some outdoor seating. I imagine it's quite loud inside when there is a band playing.

A blues dive bar that serves cold beer, barbecue ribs and chicken. Well, that deserves a medal for the concept, if not the execution.
