The Downtown Portland location has beautiful decor, although it is a bit noisy. The service was good, but spotty at times. The Lemongrass Clam Chowder was wonderful, but the Beef Salad, a Thai standard, was only passable, as the beef was tough and the seasoning was not great (also no peanuts, which I prefer). The Royal Duck Curry was good, but not great, although my wife's Green Chicken Curry was quite good.
Consistently good. Try the Curry dishes. A tad pricy for Thai food but still worth it.
Typhoon can be exotic or casual spicy or mild just discribe what you are lookig for and they will produce it. No language barrier here just axcent. If your not experienced with Thai food the staff will gladly guide you thru a wonderful dinner.
Excellent Thai food. The atmosphere can vary depending on teh location. But the food is great and service is good.
The food was quite good but was overshadowed by the horrendous service - and this was on a Monday night when the restaurant was not exactly bustling.
