Great food and the preparation is great as well. The Sushi chefs a re old and cranky... not good. Very limited seating and the prices are higher than they deserve to be.

The best, most authentic sushi in Portland. Don't waste your time if you are the kind of sushi-eater who likes super-fancy rolls made with tons of fish mushed together, complex sauces and Americanized ingredients like cream cheese. DO go and enjoy wonderfully authentic Japanese style sashimi and sushi in a quiet atmostphere. Closed Sat. and Sun.

Still the best and most authentic sushi and Japanese kitchen in town with the freshest fish. No fluff- just good.

the best restaurant in Portland. the 50 year sushi career of Mr. Murata shows in every bite of every dish.
