Not just a breakfast place (though it does smell a bit like pancakes), Americana restaurant in Del Mar is an excellent choice for dinner. Their entrees are delicious and portions are plentiful, and with their Tuesday through Thursday half-price bottle of wine deal, they're a great value.

I've only been to Americana several times while living in Del Mar. The food is great, though I'm saving my 'excellents' for my other favorite restaurants in Del Mar. Still, for a nice corner upscale cafe, I recommend it.
