SAD WASTE OF PRECIOUS TIME IN PARIS. 1) Homard de Bretagne-absolutly plain and bland-E120. 2)Ris de Veau-tasteless and bland with good texture but underwhelming for E90. 3)Agneau regions-carved tableside and served on soupy vegestables-no depth or flavor to meat or broth sauce E85. After the main courses to avoid being the ugly American I told the waiter my wife was ill, paid and left rather than enduring dessert or coffee.

Outstanding attention to detail. Possibly the best food experience in Paris - very fine executions, not at all rich and a taste that is close to perfection. The service is very good and would be excellent if they communicated in French! The wine list is outstanding as is the sommeliers advice. The room is elegant - but not at the level of Les Ambassadeurs (Are any?)

You are in for an experience when 6 greeters are waiting at the door of the restaurant (I assume one for each reservation coming in at that time). The cascading chandeliers give the room a feeling of a temple or shrine, which it is to the food of Alain Ducasse. The service at first seems stiff but after 3 hrs of eating everyone seemed more relaxed. The food went beyond expectations and the presentation was unlike anything I have ever experienced.

You cannot ignore this stalwart's attention to every single detail. The food is expertly prepared and beautifully presented. Ducasse's creations shine. The tasting menu is in a class by itself - there is no equal. This type of experience comes at a VERY heavy price. Be prepared, but oh, it's worth it for a special occasion.

One of the best dining experiences I have ever had anywhere! Every detail was beautifully executed. The service was super-welcoming and knowledgeable. IThis restaurant exceeded my very high expectations.
