Best bet if you are in the arts district. Probably your best bet even if you are not going to Hobby Center but are anywhere close (or maybe not even that close) to it. Excellent food,decor and service.

attempts at fusion cuisine fails miserably, failed fusion spoils beautiful decor and picturesque (for Houston) setting, waitstaff not knowledgeable

Good food and wine list, pleasant and refined atmosphere. Although the restaurant was not full by any means, service lapsed.
